Joi is a Junior Statesman of America and in the Model United Nations program. She is the co-chair of programs for the National Society of Black Engineers and the NSBE Jr. Chapter’s TMAL team. She has been listed as a Top of America, is in the NAACP Jr. Chapter, and volunteers for Habitat for Humanity, Elf Louise and the Spina Bifida Foundation.
